Right to left-"headshot", "spineshot" & "headshot followed by stuck in the fork of the tree, stem to stern shot" Expansion is somewhat hidden by most of these pics, but is most visible in the left side squirrel headshot. Weapon was a 10/22, at ranges from 20- 40 yds.

The Python is probably the better combat arm, but once you run out of bullets nothing screams "pistol whip" like an N-frame. C'thulhu '12! Why settle for the lesser Evil? |

Except for one squirrel that was my first kill with a shotgun reload last year, every squirrel that I've taken has been with that 10/22. The one in the middle was trying to slide around a tree trunk, but I saw his back from the profile view and took the spine shot. One shudder and he fell of the trunk. The one that stuck in the fork of the tree was more of a pride thing. I got him with a headshot, but he fell into the fork of a tree about 50 ft up
I was irrititated so I took another shot to blast him out of the tree. Wasn't much meat left that wasn't tainted at that point. .22 hunting squirrels is so much fun, it's ridiculous. I need to try to get one with the wife's Buckmark next year.
