Question Russian ammo

I'm trying to track down any Russian rimfire ammo that might be lying around.

NO...WOLF is not Russian ammo, it is loaded in Germany by SK.

I've used the SUROK HP ammo from LVE and I absolutely LOVE this ammo but I'm running low. It was soaked in cosmoline but I cleaned it with a rubbing alcohol damp rag and it shoots great! Have a chance to buy an unopened case so I'm going to get it here shortly.
I've also just traded ammo for several boxes of the "JUNIOR" green box ammo but haven't had a chance to try it out. It had a crap load of wax which I cleaned like the SUROK.

HOWEVER---FYI---The "BEAR" line of ammo is manufactured in the LVE plant. I e-mailed the importer ZANDERS and asked them about the Rimfire ammo. They said that the exchange rate make the rimfire more expensive than American rimfire ammo. HOW is that possible? If they can import millions of rounds of centerfire calibers and sell it for a cheap@ss price why would a box of rimfire be more expensive? The exchange rate is effecting the centerfire ammo as much as it would effect the rimfire ammo if it were imported.

I was just wondering if anyone here knows of any companies that have some lying around just waiting to be bought? I'm talking about the "hole in the wall", "off the beaten path" gun stores. Haven't had a chance to get to any gunshows lately but I've searched web over and found some on a few auction sites.

Does anyone know why they stopped importing it? Yeah, it is dirty but if cleaned it shoots great out of my CZ Varmint

If not, does anyone have any lying around, or know someone who does, that would be willing to sell it or trade for it?

Thanks in advance

I have not seen that ammo for a while now. I have used some years ago but have not seen it since. Good luck on the hunt.
