Never used S&B .22LR but I swear by their centerfire stuff.

I haven't tried it yet either. I would be interested in testing some though, maybe when it warms up.

Thanks. I don't shoot my .22's nearly enough, 10/22, Nylon 66, Ruger Single-Six and thought perhaps putting something other than the cheapest ammo I can find through them might change that fact. This S&B costs about 2-3 times what I usually pay but if it's any good the 6250rd case should last me a lifetime.

I've never tried it, but I might give it a test with a smaller quantity before picking up a case+.
I like the "Eley priming" mention. Aguila always prominently prints that too. Almost as if it's a magic talisman for accuracy, rather than a standardized process. |

I bought 4 boxes at a local shop yesterday. So far I've shot it in only one rifle, a Winchester M-67, and it say the least, I like it! At least in that rifle. I was shooting offhand at a 3" clanger at 75 yards and hit it everytime with 30 rounds. Got boring, actually. If I get some time later today I'd like to benchrest the rifle-ammo combination and see what it will do.

Benched the S&B ammo today. In the Winchester 67 I was getting groups from 1.25-1.5". Stevens Favorite about the same. Marlin 60 not so good, about 2.5" but that rifle just doesn't shot standard velocity of any sort worth a hoot.
