    First AK pistol

I just bought my first AK pistol. Bought it used. Looks like new though. Runs like a clock with no issues (3 mags through it so far).

It's not a Draco. 12.5" barrel. Looks to be non-chromed. Receiver is marked "Century Arms inc" "AK pistol" DC industries St Paul MN. None of the # match. Doesn't bother me though since it runs good and I got a pretty good deal on it.

I assume this was built by Century out of spare parts. Are these good receivers?
I can't seem to find much info on this model.

DC is Dan Coonan and yes those are good receivers. Can you post a picture of it?

Thanks for the welcome. Nice site BTW. Been reading here quite a bit.

Any hoo, I snapped a couple of pics. Not much to look at right now. I rubbed the stamping with some chalk for the pic. Anyone know the year/time frame these were made in? I still want to get a Draco as well to go with this one.

I'm not much into AKs, but that appears to be a nice one, not rough in my estimation.

Welcome to the site, looking forward to seeing more posts from you.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

I have not seen that model before. IT looks quite nice. Did it come with that 3 prong flash hider?

I put the 3 prong FH on it. It had a krink style MB when I bought it, though I'm guessing the prior owner put that on. Oddly, there is no sign of welding where the muzzle device attaches so they must not have welded them on this model.
