    It apparently is NOT DD classified either.
    The company got a "sporting use exception" for it.

    The .950 JDJ is made from a 20mm Vulcan case. It pushes a 3600 gr. bullet at 2,200 ft/sec at the muzzle which develops over 38,000 ft-lbs of energy. Anyone need a new varmint rifle? LOL!!!

    actually elephants aren't all that tough for their size, all the current african cartridges are already considered sufficient. Perhaps we need to go find a planet that has bigger animals?
