AK-47 Ejection Issues

Update: I polished the heck out of the bolt carrier bottom and hammer (chin?), for a much smoother operation. I tested it with an old steel mag, and had two shells not eject, 2-misfires, probably ammo/mag? Put in a new Tapco mag and fired all rounds without an issue.

I'm no expert, but replacing the magazine would have been my suggestion. I've had all kinds of problems with my GP 1975. One of them was having the shell not eject in the manner you've described. The problem was resolved by just using a different magazine. I've also had the bolt carrier not return forward, also due to a bad magazine.
