Question 23rds of 12ga at the ready

    The Xrail

Anyone seen this before? Looks awful and probably handles poorly but 23rds is pretty sweet!

$700 plus and higher ... damn! If I need to shoot that many rounds, make it an AR15.

If the Apocalypse scenario from "The Birds" had stuck in the public consciousness instead of Night of the Living Dead style zombies, this might be more popular.

And i'm sure the front of the shotgun is easily maneuverable with all that extra weight extended all the way to the front of the barrel. Shoulda named it the hercules system. Neat concept though.

I'm picturing a pair of these on the front of a Keltec KSG

I would still weight less than my 1918A3 BAR with bipod. Imagine a Remington 1100 with a 30" barrel and one of those attached to a pintle mount on a tripod loaded with 00 Buck. That's like 207 .33 caliber projectiles in just a few seconds.

If I were to go anywhere near to buying a shotgun it would be a Saiga 12ga and Id call it good. I understand that shotguns can put some hatred down range but the limited range, (compared to a rifle) limited capacity in most cases and weight of ammo just turns me off to a shotgun. I just like 1 bullet down range at a target at a time, less opportunity for collateral damages. I do like to skeet shoot a lot though. I use my cousins or friends shotgun, its uaually funny too because Im faster and more accurate with their gun in most cases.
