    Considering the price of 44 spl ammo this could make a much more economical large bore revolver to shoot.

    Ruger did a special run of Vaqueros for the San Diego County Sheriffs Dept under product number KBNV-404SW. It's estimated 500-1000 were produced.

    Now they need to come out with one in 10mm. They have .357 Mag chambered ones, so why not? Maybe its just over the top of the platform's capabilities...?

    awp101 is correct! Ruger made the KBNV-404SW in 2000. I'm sure collectors find these very desirable.

    I know where one is for sale (it might even be THAT one) but I'm not sure I want to pay the $600+shipping+xfer entry fee. Even if I had the entry fee in the first place....
