Charter Arms Target Pathfinder .22LR?

I saw one of these today. Felt good, the only change I'd make is to add some color to the front ramp and maybe some wood stocks instead of the rubber ones it comes with. Price was right ($339 or $369 brand new IIRC) but I don't know diddly squat about the new Charter Arms.

Let's put it this way. I know it won't replace the S&W M63 I had to let go a few years back but it felt good enough to make me think twice about spending almost twice as much for a replacement M63.

Thoughts, opinions or experiences with this particular revolver or the new CA in general anyone?

IMHO CA quality seems so much better than it was 5 years ago.

From another forum where I have asked the same question:

I've had a 4" Dual-Cylinder Target Pathfinder for just shy of 2 years now, and like it just fime.

Here it is with a new Taurus 941 (.22 Mag) that went back permanently, since it started side-spitting from the 1st cylinderful.



No matter what happens with a new Charter someone may buy - I spoke personally with the CA owner, and he told me he will ALWAYS stand behind his products, and wants to make the best he can.
Hey - he even answered the company phone, one day, when I happened to call their customer service. :shock: .

The bold part is why I didn't pay much attention to the new Taurii I saw a couple of cases down for less money than the CA. If you get a good Taurus, it's a good one. If you don't...well, you paid yer money and took yer chances.
