Haven't seen a drum of surplus M1 enblock clips for 10 years now. I had one when I had my FFL. Took 3 years to sell the drum out. A buck each is low these days. I was getting about $75 cents for 1 or 2 of them. If you bought 10 I'd sell em for $5. Been out since 2000. I kept about 350 of them, just enough to load all my 06 amm in them.

aggressive engineering comes up in searches for a new source of M1 clips. Midway has them but they are 5 for $9.99 bucks. Not exactly the price you're looking for.

The cheapest way to buy them might be on loaded ammo:

"The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time; the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them. ... Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever."--Thomas Jefferson
