I haven't had my shotgun out in a little over a year. A friend invited me to do some trap shooting at his house yesterday with his family and girlfriend. I could tell it had been a while. Last time I shot I was hitting about 75%, yesterday I was at about 50%.

I got to try out my new single shot 20 ga that I got to teach my nephews how to shoot shotgun. It was pretty nice. It has a full choke and I was still at about 50% with it, since that what I did with my normal shotgun I was happy (happy as I could be). One thing I was surprised about was the recoil. I couldn't really tell the difference from my 12 ga to the 20 ga. Had I known that I probably would have bought another 12 ga. Oh well, the 20 ga shell is not nearly as intimidating as the 12 ga, especially to a new shooter.
