I parked my latest CZ-82 last week and decided not to buy custom grips for it.
I started looking around on different gun boards to get some ideas. I settled on stippling the ugly factory grips. The factory grips are just too slick, especially with sweaty hands.
I took a soldering iron with a fine pointed tip and began making divets. I concentrated the divets very close to each other and then lightly sanded the sharp tops. After about an hour and a half they were done.
After I installed them, there is no slipping and there's a sense that the grips are wider.
