    Lets see your HK-type rifles!

In celebration of my newest acquisition I would like to start a picture thread.

Lets see your HK-type rifles, wether it be HK/CETME/ whatever!

    Ill start:

    Nice!!
    I want one!!!!!

I bought a genuine NIB HK 91 back in 1984 for $499 out the door.
Finally traded it for a Colt AR. Bad mistake on my part.

    Thats a great looking rifle!

I had a CETME once, a lifetime ago. It turned out to be a single shot so it got sold off.

If I could only pick 5 "guns" for a life time they would be:

    1) Ruger 10/22
    2) AR15 (.223)
    3) Mossberg 500 or Remmington 870 12ga
    4) Glock 17
    5) Hk G3 (Real Hk's to much $), but I'd be happy with a clone in .308!

    Nice addition to your family

That's a pretty good selection. I think I would deviate on the .22 LR weapon and go bolt gun there, otherwise I like your picks.

    My PTR 91's

The C93 one of 2 I now own (sold one other to fund my Marlin 357 buy and the other was too far into the safe).

BTW in all 3 of those rifles I have a total of $1485

mriddick, what do you think of your PTR-91's? I have been wanting a good semi .308 for a few years now and have pretty much decided if I don't go with a Springfield Armory Socom, the next best thing on my list would be a PTR. Really haven't searched the web as I have my heart set on a Socom, but are the PTR's good rifles right out of the box? Any problems of any kind when using different ammo, mags, etc.? And lastly, what kind of accuracy can you get out of them when using quality ammo?

I consider them great rifles. I've had no issues at all with them, I've heard some have had issues with early rifles not cycling all types of ammo reliably (chambers too tight and/or flutes not deep enough) but that's been fixed from what I gather.

One thing I like about the PTR's is the much lower price of the rifles but also the cheaper mags compared to the M1A's. The HB model I have will turn in 1.5 inch groups reliably but it's a tad nose heavy, the GI model would make a better all around rifle IMO.

I have also thought about getting a PTR91 some day. I like my M1A and both of my L1A1s. I guess I just like 7.62 semi auto rifles so why not try a PTR91 some time.

That is the CETMEs, but I can't find the HK91 or the PTR91 photos. They were on the old board I think. Guess I need some more pictures... I do want to buy a C93 to go with them.
