Cool AMD-65 Pistol to rifle conversion

Hi all. I built an AMD-65 a few years ago on a Global Trades 1.6mm receiver with a pistol trunion. I riveted the build except for the rear trunion I screwed.

I am now going to make it a rifle. I understand this will require extending the barrel as well as the usual 922r compliance parts. The AMD-65 is said to have a 12.6" barrel. There is the Tapco 4.25" AMD brake http://www.tapco.com/products/ak/ind...&productId=349 which isn't the sexiest solution but would get you to over 16.5". I also found this guy with 2" and 4" barrel extensions: http://www.cncwarrior.com/shop/categ...ant/ak/page/2/ and was thinking of using the 2" extension and permanently affixing the 1.75" AR style flash hider that I have on it. I figure I can silver solder that to the extension, then the extension to the rifle.

Then commence with installing a standard rear trunion which I'll have to narrow to fit the receiver, and I was even thinking of trying one of these: https://www.facebook.com/SlideFireSolutions

    Ideas?

Is it legal in Florida to build/own a SBR? The AMD65 is a really cool little rifle! It would make a sweet SBR if possible. I would also leave the original or US equal brake. The original butt stocks are $30-$40 or so. IMHO...
Just look at it like you're trading a pistol + $200 for a bad ass little SBR!

The other option is to use the Tapco extended brake. They really don't look that bad after paint and they totally help eliminate muzzle blast/concussion & fireballs. LOL...

    SBR

I do not condone the unconstitutional ATF. I sure don't want to have a gun registered by them. Not sure why anyone would voluntarily do that.

I had always seen 4" barrel extensions until yesterday finding this 2" extension. If I "permanently affix" the flash hider to it I'll only be 2" longer than it currently is.

I have the original parts, but don't like the brake or the wire folder at all. Plus the machining involved in making the wire folder work is undesirable.
