    New guy with new gun

Finally talked the wife into an AK

Picked up my WASR 10/63 a couple days ago and thanks to cheaperthandirt's
crazy fast shipping it was quickly transformed from this...

    to this...

I'm tickled with it so far. Planning on adding a light and some type of optic later. Haven't decided on an optic yet. Trying to find the best bang for the buck on a more affordable one. I don't want to throw over $200 in optics on a cheaper gun.

    Welcome!

    Cheap optic

I have one its held up well but it can be a hit or miss with budget optics.

i prefer the before, but to each ihs own

now you just have to man up and tell the wife where to go, because they start multiplying quick!

    Welcome to the group !!!

The beauty of the AK is how you can personalize it into that one of a kind that you can take pride in!!!

    Enjoy!

    Welcome!

An excellent choice sir! Can't really go wrong with an AK. There's a reason the platform has been spreadiong and multiplying like a flu virus since 47'.

Got my optic on. Kinda mixed reviews but it was on clearance so I took a gamble.

All of the tools it comes with fit in the forearm and extra batteries fit in the pistol grip.

I'm not planning on selling it right now. I'm wanting to end up with three. I want an underfolder and one that is left original. Except I'm wanting to get a matching laminate pistol grip and refinish them all with a nice russian red gloss.
