What's the delay out of Cugir?

I've been hearing "2 weeks" for several weeks now for Cugir to pump more guns into our market. I cannot seem to find a reason for the backlog of firearms. Any rumors?

No rumors here. Maybe another large military order...

Waiting patiently for my mini Draco. I refuse to pay $500 for one!

That's a fun toy. I like the extra short layout. It's on my list.

    Welcome to the board!!!

Already have all the furniture for it. It'll go nice with my Chinese SKS and Yugo underfolder.

Dallas. I'm an officer in the northern suburbs.

I'm in East Texas, on Lake Sam Rayborn. Wish I could make the DFW area gun shows more often, they are pretty good.

Meh, they are if you're really into ARs. I hadn't been to the Dallas Gun Show in a few years and was amazed at how flooded the market is with those guns now. I guess it'll be good in the long run because it'll run the prices down on them. I was most surprised to see WASR 10's going for $500, and they weren't dealing on that price, either. The most insane thing I saw was a Vector Arms 9mm Uzi carbine, which sells new online for $800, for $1600. Too many people preying on the ignorant at gun shows.

I hit the Mesquite and Fort Worth shows a few years ago (2004/5?) and they were pretty good then. Ran into some gunsneters, Arsenal (Houston version) was there, Military Gun Supply had some good prices on some of thier stuff. Yes as always there were over priced vendors and such, but overall it wasn't bad. The Crossroads shows out west are pretty good too; went to several in the Denver area.

Just bought four of the Palmetto receivers over Christmas at $50 each. They will be my first AR's... I've mainly been into HK/Cetme roller locks and AK's.

Getting back to the original post, I would guess, but can't prove, that ATF has a hand into any delay of imported firearms.

If they are compliant with our laws, why would the ATF cause further delay?

We are talking about the master minds of Waco and Ruby Ridge, the geniuses that declared a shoe string a machine gun, the mental giants of the LA raid, the agile minds that botched 50% of the NFA database...

Who knows with the Fed's version of the Keystone Cops...

Oh, hell, I forgot! The same bunch that just shipped over 2500 weapons untracked to the Mexican Drug Cartels... Weapons that have killed at least two Federal LEO's!
