    Thanks, I don't really want to send the only one I have out to someone I don't know, rather just buy one. I will will try these guys.

    Here's a guys website that does excellent work.

    Here's mine I modified using an AK piston shaft and original ball.
    There's no problem an AK can't solve...........

    Boltman does a really good job on the turndown bolts. I am actually sending two Mauser bolts to him.

    You can, just find a bolt body for sale and use it.

    Boltman mods them and outright sells them.
    He did one of mine, super and nicely polished.

    True, but last time I checked his site, he was out of bolt bodies to modify. He's now just offering modifying the bolt body you send him.
    There's no problem an AK can't solve...........

    Sarco has the bolt body for $10 or 15 each and they are super easy to modify your self with a drill press,vice,and a mig welder.I cut the ball off and drill a under size blind hole for the rod size then squish the ball on the shaft in the vice,Then I chuck it in my cordless drill and sand /polish any vice/ hammer marks on a belt sander be fore I bent it in a wood lined vice.I used 5/16 stainless rod and then mig'ed it to the body...cleaned up the welds with a flap wheel grinder then polish or sand blast ....kman

    I've even drilled the body and silver soldered the shaft in to it.

    Hey what about the metallic stock? Pics please.

    Did you use an AK bending jig?

    I figured you came up with some idea to bend it.
