Sick and damned tired of moving already.........

......wife and I are closing this friday morning on our current house at 9:30 am, closing on the NEW house at 10:30 am, then moving out of our current house IMMEDIATLY AFTER, and we have been packing for the last month......I mentioned we listed out house, sold it for slightly MORE then asking, then got a deal on our next house all within the last 2 months.......damn, I am tired of this. On top of lesson planning, testing my kids, all kinds of school shit. Tommorow is the last school day for the kids at my school, then I have thursday in my room. Then friday, then next week spring break (unpacking for me, other teachers just get to relax)......

    damn......having a beer right now.....

It's one thing to use terrorism to make a political statement, but the wanton mutilation and suffering of innocents? How does that forward your political goals? When done in the name of religion, how does that earn you brownie points with God?

Sounds like a good problem to have. We need a new house, this place is getting too small.

Lol, it's good for you...you know the whole "idle hands are the devil's playthings" and all that . But seriously, if my wife and I could have that same "problem" with our house, which we're trying to get ready to put on market asap cuz house we'd like to get is for sale for a good price, as you guys had with yours I'd be extremely thankful! And that's with our first kid about two months away from being born! Just remember not to sweat the small stuff and you two will be able to rest up soon enough.

Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever."--Thomas Jefferson

yeah, I am looking forward to miving.....just want to be done with it. Tired of boxes everywhere. The new house is awesome, about perfect for us. AND, not the top end of our financial ability either. Our house payment is only going up about 200 bucks a month, which for our income, is not bad at all....

Congratulations on the new house. Understand the frustration of moving. Despite my best efforts to stay in one place we still move about every 24 months. My longest time in a house is just shy of 4 years. The house I am in I know I will leave in about a year and I have at least two more moves before I can try to settle down again. Oh yeah, the moves will be cross country, from Washington state to D.C. and hopefully back again.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

I feel for you. In my 36 year marriage, we have moved at least 22 times. We lost $15,000 on the sale of our last house, and are having extreme difficulty finding another house we like. I am prepared to build the next house, but we can't even find land we like.

    You are lucky!!

LOl and years from now you'll still have plenty of unopened boxes in the basement since the move!
