Ive had 3 Springfield 1911's and as for that ILS I dont even notice...
OP, that is the definition of a score! Congrats on your new peice.
I'm not a big fan of the ILs either. It is something that isn't need created simply to cool the lawyers down I think. That being said though, it doesn't get in the way and I hardly notice it. I have actually used it a time or two. So I guess I shouldn't really complain I just don't like things on my gun that were basicly created by lawyers when it would function fine without it.
