Dude, that thing would rock on a Draco or Krink. They've got some nice prices on all their suppressors.

I've heard it's really louder on the SBR stuff...still would be cool though.

ATF cashed my check on the 11th...looks like the wait is up to 7 months now.

The Kestrel core is fully encased in an inner stainless steel wall

I may have to look in to their Guardian 9. A 9mm suppressor with booster for $350 is hard to beat.

    damn that's quiet.

if you glued some thin hi-temp cloth where the bolt contacts on the AK it would be super quiet.

I brought my Kestrel 7.62AK suppressor home last week.
Video really isn't a great gauge for loudness so I don't have one yet.
The can was louder than I expected but then I noticed that my ears weren't ringing.
It's advertised as "hearing safe" so there you go!

It may ring my ears on my M92 PAP though...waiting for the adapter.

    Update...I got a 5.56 adapter ($40) for my Kestrel 7.62AK suppressor
and tried it out with my AR today. I had heard it wouldn't be hearing safe
with 5.56 but lo and behold, my ears did not ring!
...still waiting for the 26mm adapter for my krink.

    UPDATE:
Finally got the can adapted to my SBR and it's still hearing-safe. (ears didn't ring)
    It's my new favorite.

    Thats great!

My dealer is always talking shit about how loud a .308 can is on his AK. He needs to try this one I guess.

Local gunshop had a Kestrel 5.56 in it last time that was calling my name. They had it priced at $499.

This one would probably be no quieter on his .308. It's overbored to almost .410.
(you can shoot 9mm through it)
The Kestrel is also "loud" by most standards.
AKs are hard to suppress but this keeps my ears from ringing.
That's all it's designed to do.
I save the "quiet" for my 9mm EVO-9 and my .22 cans.
The Kestrel is really really quiet on a .22 rifle though.

Nice, very nice! The shorter the weapon, (rifle) the less quiet the Cans make them. That AR pistol I built is much louder than my 16" AR rifles when the same suppressor is used. I especially notice more noise when it locks back on the last round than when the bolt closes on another live round. That tells me the gas in the can isn't all out of it, so when the bolt is open more of it and noise comes out the ejection port when the bolt locks back.

    Yuppers.

The shorter the barrel of any small arm (handgun/rifle/shotgun/subgun/PDW) will be louder suppressed

    ...of comparable model
