Saiga 12 with 10rd mag or 20rd drum shooting a mix of buckshot and slugs will pretty much kill anything, monsters included.

Not to insult the awesomeness of the 45-70, but I dont think its in the range of a T-Rex sized monster gun. I would look to a repeating rifle that uses a round that has a long history of winning engagements with things like Rhinos, and elephants. The 450 Marlin is a modernized 45-70, and its still not recommended for thick skinned African game. With monsters like the Mapinguari, penetration is the key to dealing damage to its internal organs.
