    Thumbs up Won a S&W Model 547 .9mm Revolver off Gunbroker.com.

The hard to find .9mm Luger Smith and Wesson Revolver with 3 Inch Barrel and those large Banana Grip's that I love. this is the only Revolver I ever cared about, first saw it in 1982. been wanting to get one for Year's. .9mm is my Round. Almost all my Pistol's I have ever owned have been in this Caliber. They are not real Rare. But trying to find one exactly like this with the 3 Inch and the Banana Grip's is! Got one in Excellent Condition. I hate those tiny ass small Grips that S&W usually put's on their Revolver's. Now if I can just find a .9mm Revolver Speed loader for it. HKS stopped making one for it. Paul

SWEEEEEET! I want a 9mm revolver. Have a .357 but the barrel is to long and gun is too heavy for carry. How much. That should be mandatory for posts.

9mm of course, .9mm Luger, 9x19, Caliber 355, .9mm Long call it what you want. my favorite Pistol Caliber in a Revolver. sort of llike the I.D.F. Desert Eagle's which were chambered for .357,and 44 Mag. both Revolver Caliber's in a Semi-Auto.

    Question

Trying to find something for it, HKS stopped making the Speed Loader for it.

Since the Model 547 wasn't designed for moon clips I'm pretty sure you'd have to have the cylinder cut to use them if you can find some or have some made.

These guys make a full moon that will probably work

They can cut the cylinder too for about $100

BINGO! They make 3 different type's of Speed Loader's for the Model 547 in .9mm 1 twist and 2 push types. However! I just got off the Phone with Safariland they are backed ordered for 18 Days! but at least I placed the Order. Thanks again. Paul

How is a rimless cartridge held in a revolver cylinder without a moon clip?

Yep, she's a beautiful pistol, and I'd love to have her.

But for the money, I'd rather have a newer, polymer framed, single-stack 9mm.

It would be lighter, thinner, cheaper, and would hold 7 + rounds.

Still, I dream of the day when it financial don't matter, and I can afford such a beautiful revolver as you've purchased. I hope you enjoy in immensely, as I hope to someday be able to acquire one and enjoy it myself.

The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson - 3rd Edition only shows a serial number range 9D44501-17D8900 for 1982. If you want more detailed information you'll probably need to contact the S&W Historian.
