    Blackhawk Axiom U/L Rifle Stock

Just picked up a Remington 700SPS W/26" heavy barrel and was wanting to free float the barrel with an new stock.
Anyone here have any experience with this stock?

But the more I think about it I would rather have the B&C M4 style stock.

Wish I could help you with either... Any reason to suspect that they wouldn't fit correctly? I'd expect any m700 barrel of that sort to be free-floating... I like the M40 out of the two myself.

I called B&C and was told the heavy barrel will work but web site said may need mods.
I was surprised it was not free floating from Remington but it isn't.But to tell you the truth,I am curious to see how much difference it would be floating the barrel.
Out of the box I am getting around 1/2 or under 3 shot groups at 200 yrds.I still like the M40 and would also set it up to take detachable mags. And after some feedback on the Blackhawk, I think I will pass on that one.

I have the same rifle and used the B&C Tactical Medalist. No mods, works great.
