Hi there from Beautiful British Columbia Canada. I have been looking at scope mounting options for my Tula Soviet SKS carbine. I have had this gun years before the current imports of Russian and Chicom Military weapons flooded in. Wow I bought a Military Chinese Sks for $135 out the door from Lever Arms a few years back. Even now Marstar has them for $175 or so. Anyways I was checking out some side rail mounts at Kalinka Optics website. Seems like a more solid mount to keep zeroed in rather than the top cover replacement mounts so often seen. They have a couple of options to use one rail mount with rings or the rail mount that I would like to try out. Lots of spare parts and stock sets around too to use to modify so the mount can be done. Would like to mount a 4X24 PSP or POSP scope. Any ideas or feedback for a solid mount that maintains zero would be appreciated. Kind regards.
