    This month's score in the C&R dept.

    Marlin 336SC made in 1951, chambered in 35 Remington.
    Needs some blueing work BUT, the bore looks great and everything is mechanically sound.
    I just might plumb brown it.

    And got it for less than 2 mosins.

    Get you some Oxpho Blue Paste from Brownell's. They were not browned, so that is an in apporpriate fininsh for the steel. The Oxpho Blue Paste will give you a very durable black color and will not after rust. Otherwise congrats on the score.

    The Brownell cold blue is great.
