Cool Some more bullet testing of 7.62 NATO vs .30 M2 pulls

Bullet testing with some flaky 7.62/.3065" NATO from Widner's and some M2 surplus pulls.

i get nearly the same results out of my Scout using the M2 pulled bullets with 45gr of imr 4350.

They run great in all my 7.5 mas loads too.

The bullets are a bulk 1K buy and are hand loaded into my brass and for the HK the brass is CAVIM '81 on it's tenth reload so head stamp is a mote factor.

    Cool ;)

Look at the picture of the rifle should answer one of you questions but I don't understand the other. I bought them on sale at Widner's as posted. they are only .3065" not .307" or .3075" they are also short with a smaller bearing surface in the bore of some rifles. The M2's are .3078" to .308" and flat based with a longer body bearing surface. A much better pellet to work with @ $.12 ea.

    Cheers
