    My Finished Polish AKMS

I can't get a pic to upload, will keep trying.

This was a 1985 made rifle, my oldest girl, Ally (15), helped me build it.

To keep it authentic looking, I distressed the gunkote to look used, like the rest of the parts. I am way happy the way she turned out. All rivet heads were formed on the outside and turned out quite nice.

The only thing re-finished was the new receiver, trigger guard and front/rear trunnions. Then I put wear marks before baking the gunkote.
