Finally Got It!

I just got back from being at sea for a while. While driving home from the ship my wife pulls out the latest add from Cabella's and shows me that the Winchester Model 101, over/under shotgun is on sale for a little less than 25% off. The sale started a few days after I got back this time, instead of a few days after I left. So, on the first day of the sale I was able to get the shotgun. It is beautiful, the wood is dark and well marbled. I gave it a quick wipe down to with oil to remove all the fingerprints which made it look even better. Now, to get some time off to take it to the local trap and skeet range. The gun fits me much better than my 870. I am looking forward to seeing how I do busting clays with it.

That's a nice looking shotty!

You say it fits you better than your 870 - the 870 is one of the only production guns that I've found that actually fits me well - the drop in particular is enough for my eye to align with the bore without having to mash down hard on the comb.

Exactly like that except for the wood. I was able to choose a really well marbled butt stock. I really makes the shotgun look like a million bucks.
