we lost Rick "Redstar' on 9/7/05. Least I think it was the 7th. Sure wish I'd have gotten to meet him in person. RIP my friend.

Rick never failed to answer my C&R questions.
If he had taken all his C&R weapons with him to the Good Lord, he would had to have a heavy lifter.

He will always be missed and never forgotten.
    RIP Rick.

Wow, time flies. Rick was responsible for lots of us spending $$ on C&R weapons. "I gotta get me one of them" LOL!
We all need to get together again. Its been too long.

Hard to belive it has been that long. I learned a lot from him. It was because of him and others on the board that I was building my Mosin collection at the time.

it is hard to believe it has been that long... he was a big part of my introduction and subsequent addiction to curio and relics... never got to meet him in person but he will still always be in my memories...

Rick was a good man, I talked to him many times. I remember him asking me about De linking belted 7.62. He sent me the links, I still have them. That was about 10 years ago. I also have some pictures somewhere of his Com Block Collection, I tell you it was the most SKS's, M44's, M38's, M39's, and AK's I have seen to date. I too learned alot from him and others here.

I remember the pic of his 'SKS' room. Wall to wall.

It's hard to believe that much time has passed. He was instrumental in my involvement with C&R all those years ago. We've lost too many good ones.
