    Question Price ckeck SA93

Can anyone tell me if the Ak in this photo is an SA-93 and if so what is an approximate value? It's at an auction I'm planning to go to in the morning and if it doesn't go too high I might try and bring it home. Also any comments regarding the SA-93 in general and any photos of ones that have been returned to original configuration would be greatly appreciated. TIA

SA-93 has a milled receiver. Judging by the furniture and the muzzle cover, that rifle is a Norinco NHM-90 in 7.62x39 (they came in .223 as well)

Going rate on an NHM-90 these days is $500 to $600

I did find out with my NHM that using about an eight inch drill, a couple of well placed holes turned that thread cover tube into a fairly nice recoil compensation device.

The SA-93 lacks dimples being a milled receiver. I have links to pictures of my SA-93 in this section. Just do a search for my username. In 1996, it sold new for $375. Today, any quality AK is worth $1200 - $1400. Add in a milled receiver and you add another $250 give or take a little. That's for a used one in good condition. I'd say roughly $1500 - $1600.

No, mine is not for sale!!
