I found a kit online for a Micro Galil, less the stock. So has anyone found any online? I cannot.

Good luck. Try & call APEX, he sometimes has lessor quantities of items not on the web site...
Is there some kind of adapter for it to take regular side-folding stocks? Or am I just being dumb here.
If I remember correctly, no adaptor is needed.
Here's to pussy and gunpowder. One to live for, the other to die by.....Goddamn though, I do love the smell of 'em both !!!
My Hardar and both Golani Galils use the same round & pinned attachment method.
I don't have a Micro to look at...
Awesome guys. Appreciate it.
Try Sarco also, they used to have a lot of Galil parts.
Wow. So after some research I found I'd be spending about $3k on this, or I can go the M85 route and spend half that. The Galil has been a dream, but it's not worth that much to me.
Thanks for the help, though. I appreciate it.
What is the name of the company that bought out ORF (Ohio Rapid Fire)? ORF had a lot of Galil parts and was making Micros, but Todd died and the company was sold...

A Micro on Gun Broker for $1500....
Yesterday at the range I was offered $4K for my Action Arms Galil Model AR/372 in 5.56MM. Is this offer BS? It is in execellent condition.
I can't find anything that isn't Blackthorne, and I've heard they're not that great and missing the buttstocks. I'd rather hit up a Yugo M85. I saw that, Caliente. But I'm pretty much buying a kit for $1,500 that I'll have to put together... Read the description.
And I'm interested in the answer to Skip's question. That seems a bit much.
No, a little high, but not totally out of range especially if you have a stack of 50 round mags and other accessories with it. If it were a 7.62x51 with a pile of 25 rounders it would be more in line. I might have taken it if he had cash...
Edit: the ARM runs a little higher, but $4K is a little much...

The buyer said he would go home and get the $4K and that was on a Sunday when banks are closed. I dought he had that much cash at home. As to accessories I have the box and manual. A 50 rnd and 6 Israel 35 rnd mags, Israel 4 pocket ammo pouch, spare firing pin, and cleaning kit.
Blackthorn was Hesse/Vulcan. They have never had a reputation for quality products. Seems they are maybe better than their history, but still buyer beware... Parts Kits, etc. SHOULD be ok, I'd look hard at any product they produced...
The M85 is going to be a kit also, but a Yugo kit on a No Dak receiver is about as quality as one gets.
Still I've always liked the Galils and there is something about the milled receivers...

I was looking at the kits, aswell. But primarily the pistols ( http://www.jgsales.com/yugo-pap-m85p....-p-58080.html ) have caught my eye. I hear the rear trunnion is slanted, but all it would take is an appropriately-angled shim to attach a side-folding stock. I know a good gunsmith if I need to cut into the receiver.
I would go underfolder but the serial is placed in an awkward spot so that's out of the question. This idea saves me ~$300 compared to buying the kit.
That works. Have you priced in the folder?
I haven't yet. Still wondering which I'd like to use, but I'm leaning towards an ACE Skeleton stock.
Do you have a suggestion?
