I haven't had one of these but I like the looks. I've had an Ace stock and it was great. I don't recommend the Tapco stock.

There is a guy selling M85 parts in our own classifieds that has the underfolder for $85. But now you are into some pretty good machine work on the existing receiver. It would almost be easier/cheaper to rebuild on a No Dak.

I've had an underfolder in the past and it was ok, have not had a side-folder so I'd like to see how it would be--I like that Bonesteel.

Also, it isn't cool to install an underfolder on these PAPs because the serial number is at the rear of the receiver where the bolt for the stock would go.

I've had Ace and own three Galils. The Galil style of side folder always seemed solid to me. It isn't adjustable like a 6 position AR, but folded completely they are easy to handle in a vehicle.

The No Dak receivers have relocated serial numbers...

And I agree, put the underfolder cool factor aside and there are better stock options...

Oh, I had no idea what No Dak was, so I just went with it. I do that sometimes.

The best AK receivers out there: http://www.nodakspud.com/page2.htm (Edit: should say AKM, the AK is the milled...)

I need to order a ND556Y, I have an M90 kit put away. Same as a M85 but 16" barrel...

I'm still going between the two ideas. Kit versus pistol.

Has anyone thought of using the VZ58 stock on one? Seem uncomfortable but my job works alot with poron and other materials I could wrap around it.
