    Question When the hell did Beta-C drums become so expensive?

    Did I miss something?

    Are they still in business?

    Question No shit,they are expensive!!

    Yeah,they are still in business.i have one and like it alot.why the cost so damn much,i dont know,but they are overpriced,imo.they have them for some 308s now,like m1a,ect,but they are over $400.00.

    It depends which model you want. Ones for AR-15s can still be found for $250 and under, the others like FAL, and M1A are like Lightning 351 stated, $400 and up. MP5 and Uzi around $300 or so.

    Man I remember the AR models going for $115...... with pouch/loader/graphite etc. etc.!?!?!?

    Back in the early 90's I saw one advertized on the back cover of a magazine called Military Technology.
    I thought it was interesting -- a 100rd double drum.

    I called the company to see if I could purchase one and was told NO because they were under mlitary contract.
    I then asked what the would the price be........ $65.

    Back then $65 was crazy for 100rd mag....

    DurIng the height of the assault weapon ban I bought one for $420 delivered as did so many others.
    Then about a year ago I bought a Korean made copy for $150. Those Korean copies are exact copies inside and out. I was impressed.
