Question Moly Resin refinishing (not sure if this is the right place to post)

I just received my new MM M10 762, and although it's brand new, the finish is less than perfect. I want to use Norrell Moly Resin, and per their website, going to use this airbrush (the 350-8:

My question is this: Do I need to buy a dedicated compressor made to run airbrushes (like this one):

Or, just run it off my Kobalt garage compressor?

I am starting to get back to my plastic model building hobby, so I always wanted to buy a small compressor for that purpose. I just don't know if I need to make that purchase just to refinish the rifle.

I would like to hear from people that have applied the Moly Resin, and what compressors/airbrushes they used. Thanks!

This is an old post, So im not sure if you still need an answer. As long as you can regulate the the garage compressor belo 20 psi. I would use an inline filter after the regulator too.
