Sarco 1911's - good guns to build off of?

    They have -

    Ballester Molina 1911A1

    COLT 1911A1 1930 Original

    Systema Colt Model 1927

    Anyone know anything about them?

All 3 use GI parts or just the Colt?

Good gun to build off of?

I don't know anything about the Ballester Molina 1911A1.

The colt I would assume is a good gun, if it hasn't been beat up or worn out in the last 80 years or so.

Systema Model 1927 is the argitnian copy of the 1911. Built under licinse. If I am not mistaken they are supposed to be good guns and I would think most if not all parts would interchange with a regular 1911 but I am not sure on that. Back in the day they were a good gun for the money. I don't see them much any more as it seems like every one figured out they were good and they have been bought up.

why build off of an old original gun when you can buy brand new frames for a fraction of the cost .
