Question zastava m76 wanted - how to buy

I'm trying to get the M76 from Petes discount firearms. The price is $1290 scope included. I can't get the link to pay for it. How do ypu get a FFL transfer to your dealer online? Attempts to call or email have failed. Anytime I google zastava M76 for sale, it links back to that site. Yes, I know that 8mm ammo is a little harder to get. What should I do?

If I can't call em, I would be disinclined to purchase from them.

I found them. Here's the link for anyone else. Be warned, they cost 2k. Having said that, the M76 is one of the largest if not the largest caliber AKs on Earth.

Here's another link. It's to a Vepr in 7.62x54r with a long barrel. It costs 1k. Currently, there is only a 5 round mag, but Wolf might come out with a 10 or 15 round one at some future time if not already. Actually, it links to several flavors of Vepr rifles in several configurations.

I hope this helps someone else who's looking. If the ban happens, each might be worth a fortune.

I contacted tickbite supply, got them my dealer's FFL etc.

After sending my credit card info, I got an automatic email with an order number & haven't heard from them since.

    What is a normal delay?

    Update:

    Its at my FFL!!

I'm filling out the paperwork tomorrow.

If MD doesn't pass the ban until after tomorrow afternoon, I'm in the clear. Quite a few of my coworkers want to shoot it.

M76 huh? Hell i just bought a Saiga in .308 with a 22 in barrell and called it a day for $499.00 with 2 ten rounders. Slapped a scope on her and she is pretty damn accurate with simple 150 gr ball ammo and can digest anything in 7.62 or .308. Never have shot it over 300 yds but she will do 3 in at that range. Of course i bought this 5 years ago when the price was still down. Did put a thumbhole stock from Saiga on her though, much better, cost $50.00 for the stock. Tough, tough rifle to say the least.

Update: I'm still waiting for Maryland to clear my gun. MD is up to the day before my purchase date. The FFL Thinks it'll be anytime now. The backlog is horrific. In 1996, when I got my first AK, it cleared in 2 or 3 days. Therefore, I got it in 7 days, the normal waiting period.

The times they are a changing!!

I am so glad I live in a state that is bound only by what the feds shove down our throats.

Thanks for the updates whitelightning777 ! Looking forward to a photo or two of your hard earned rifle.

Well, I got the gun home & went through the parts. Everything is there except for the magazine!! The dealer sent me one and its on the way. I have a tracking number.

I used denatured alcohol to rip off the cosmolene. I used the barrel brush to lift it away. Heck, I probably could've just let it sit overnight instead of 1 hour. The cosmolene turned into a white waxy substance, a lot of it!!

I also have a bipod and 8x PSOP scope on it.

I'll take pics and perhaps make a youtube video as well.

M76 updates - neat gun, some glitches, would do it all again no problem

Here are some pics and videos of the M76. I haven't been online here lately. It's good to be back.

Of course, here's the final proof. I ended up shooting a bit of everything, partially to find out what it likes.
