Winchester .38 Special 150gr Metal Piercing

Stumbled on these. I have never seen them before. They are pretty old but were stored well. Figure i will just keep them for the oddity. The five dollar price was just what i wanted to spend.
The box is only partial. It contains 37 rounds as written on the top.
    Anyone know anything about them?

I've got a full box (yellow Super - X) of .357 magnum metal piercing. They are 158gr and the stated velocity on the box is 1,500fps. Other than that and the fact they have a steel core I don't know much more about them. I presume your's are similar. A few years ago a full box like mine sold for $100 on Gunbroker. I'd say your are worth $1 per round.

It is illegal ammo in the US. Illegal for a dealer to sell it to you, but not for you to own, though you're in Canada right. I don't know what the legalities are there for what is classed as Armor Piercing handgun ammo. Here if a dealer sold it to a US citizen and BATFE caught them doing it, the penalty is $10,000 fine and potentially years in jail.

We can have it, it just can't be sold by an FFL.
