I should have invested in rifle primers instead of gold & silver!

The only place I can find primers is on gun broker at three to five times the normal price...

I doubt they have all of those in stock - but it's worth a try.

In school, we were taught the precious metals were gold and silver.

In life we learned they were copper and lead.

.22LR would have been a pretty good investment too. I complained when I paid $140 delivered for a case (5000 rounds) of CCI Blazer. My complaint was because the last time I bought a couple of cases, they were $70 each. I can't believe the "value" of the ammo my daughter and I used up before she went to college!

Cousin just pick me up 100sm, 100lg, and 1000mag primers at the local gun shops. Got a good program with him, he buy the supplies and I buy equipment and reload...and clean and work on his guns. Sometimes I get a case of beer too.
To hell with gold and silver, may end up melting it down to make bullets.

A month ago I got a case of 5000 small magnum rifle Tula brand primers out of Midway. Delivered cost was about 2.6 cents each. In retrospect I should of just got 10000 as the hazmat fee would of been cut down and spread out over more pieces. Would of dropped my per primer price to about 2.4 each delivered. I checked last week, they were sold out.

Primers are no problem here. The local "Murdock" ranch supply has plenty at regular price. Pistol bullets jacketed are in short supply. I cast so no problem on that.
