    Quad rail?

I'd like to get a simple yet solid quad rail for my srl-101s. Is plastic ok or should I go metal? I like the looks of the Tapco Intrafuse but from what I know, Tapco usually sucks. There are a lot of metal ones, some look good, some look stupid. Price doesn't really matter.

The only accessory I want on it is a Mako grip pod. I have a Mako forward grip on my m&p 15-22 and love it.

The one from Midwest Industries looks like a good one. From what I've read, seems like the polymer ones are only good for lights amd scopes.

But I'm having issues with the fact that I think AK's look the best all plain and with wood stocks and hand guards.

Given how much heat comes off an AK type better go metal. On a grip pod, you'll have to mount that very far forward or it will get in the way of a 30 round mag for insertion or removal. I also think they look best with wood handguards, still if you want the utility rails bring to the weapon you can't not do it.
