    Meah! It is correctable. Maadi's didn't have the best finish on them anyway. Mechanically it is sound and unscrewed up ala Printardman "improvements". Personally I like an O.D. green rifle but I don't use rattle can paint, Gun Kote is my finish of choice.

    the lazy bastard didn't even take the safety off to paint it. Like scheutz said, its fixable.

    it was also assembled in a state factory & not by min. wage assemblers putting parts together at a us importers.

    Yep Egyptian "state" workers paid 25 cents per hour are better than Americans making $7 something an hour. And bubba couldn't pull the cleaning rod out and paint it separately?

    Being the Maadis were painted originally, it would be possible to strip off the lack of professional paint job and refinish it in as near original as you can get, but seriously?
