Not interested in buying it just wondering what that spot is on the receiver in picture 8? I thought it was a third pin hole but don't see it on the other side.

Saw that and cried over what looks like someone was removing the hammer axis pin, and used a pin punch to beat it out, and didn't care that he was beating the receiver to heck, and probably didn't know that there was this little wire thingy holding the pins in place.

Man, thats a shame that was done to that.

another question that I'm curious about and I have looked all over the internet, I can't find any range reports on the legend series, does anyone know how well these shoot?

For most people who are lucky enough to own the closest thing to a true Kalashnikov Type 3, they are safe queens. Would have to agree with ELC, based on how well they were constructed and to the standards, they are probably great shooters.

Actually, now that I think about it, I have put many rounds through a milled MAK-90 which is just a Legend that got the full George Bush the First treatment, and it is a great shooter.

"one of those legends"??? The question was "how well do they shoot?" That is a question that I can't directly answer as I have never fired a round through my Legends.

I thought you had one cause you talked about your daughter putting a 100rd drum in a Legend, I just assumed it was a Legend you've put rounds through.

That's a beautiful Mak-90 aknut. I like when they're returned to their former glory, like the mak-90 i acquired.

I just bought a Ironwood Designs laminated butt and pistol grip for my milled MAK90. I need to order the hand grips to match.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with their work ELC, the stock set I ordered and had them finish it too, is nearly identical to my 56s
