    Norinco 45's?

Got to shoot one and I liked it. I'm not a big fan of the 45 but this pistol was a pleasure to shoot. So I know there out there but which mags would be best for this one?

The Norinco 1911's from what I remember they're pretty close copies of the typical 1911 and were quite a nice value. I haven't seen one out there since about 1996 in any gun shop or at a gun show. As far as I know the standard 1911 mags should work in them.

    Yup, regular 1911 mags.

I had one a few years ago. They are great shooters and a value for the price at the time.

You want a full size single-stack 1911 magazine. It should hold 7 or 8 rounds depending on brand and model of magazine, either should work. Just make sure it is single stack and NOT labeled as an officers (short grip) model.

Wilson combat has about the best reputation although some lower cost alternatives such as Mec-gar should run just fine.

I'd take a half dozen at that price!

As for mags. Shooting star, magpac, wilson, colt; any of them should do you well.

You're kidding right? Go search Brownells for .45 mag or 1911 mag. http://www.brownells.com/magazines/h...prod55103.aspx 15 seconds search time.

I love the Wilson and Chip McCormick mags. Pricey but reliable.

I've been using McCormick Shooting Star mags for a long time with no complaints - 8 round, stainless steel with and without base pad.

    I had a Norinco 1911 at one time - excellent base 1911. $350 is a steal.
