Eric Holder and DOJ behind Zimmerman protests in Florida!!!

Rush is just now reporting that Judicial Watch under FOIA has obtained documents that prove that Eric Holder, and the DOJ spent apx 600,000 dollars organizing and funding protests, demonstrations, and rallies against George Zimmerman.

WTF is going on with our government???!!!!

The Federal Government is trying to stir up riots in Florida!!!!

Further, documents indicate that the DOJ was behind the protests that lead to the ouster of the police chief.

    DAFUQ!?!?

Great. We can't pay the Coast Guard for a five day work week but we can spend .6 million on inciting riots and perverting justice...

This is life under a racist, criminal regime.

But the bulk of the media don't care and neither do the hoards lined up for free phones and government cheese.

Can't speak for LAGC, but for me the idea of this is pretty disturbing. First the waste of money, second that the government would be taking sides at all, third that they would be actively engaged in trying to basically rile up citizens against another citizen who is already on trial....yep pretty disturbing.

To be honest though, I'm doubting the veracity of the claims. It may be true, but I have suspicions that it either isn't or is overstated.

Noooo, I said it was disturbing.

But I did question the veracity of the claim, which is always a reasonable thing to do.

Seriously Kadmos you doubt a justice dept that intentionally allowed guns to walk to kill mexicans so they could stomp on our 2nd amendment rights would do this? The mind of a libtard never stretches denial.

LOL, I'm too young to have voted for Mondale, first president I voted for was Clinton.

I found some stuff on the PJ Tatler site

Apparently the Community Relations Service (CRS), a unit of the DOJ provided support at some of the rallies, specifically including...

March 25 – 27, 2012, CRS spent $674.14 upon being “deployed to Sanford, FL to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.”
March 25 – 28, 2012, CRS spent $1,142.84 “in Sanford, FL to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.”
March 30 – April 1, 2012, CRS spent $892.55 in Sanford, FL “to provide support for protest deployment in Florida.”
March 30 – April 1, 2012, CRS spent an additional $751.60 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31.”
April 3 – 12, 2012, CRS spent $1,307.40 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance, conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanford.”
April 11-12, 2012, CRS spent $552.35 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance for the preparation of possible marches and rallies related to the fatal shooting of a 17 year old African American male.” – expenses for employees to travel, eat, sleep?

To be fair, from the article it's not clear exactly what they were doing there. It may have been technical support and security that the DOJ might give to any protest or rally.

If the DOJ were to pay for security for a KKK rally we probably wouldn't call that "supporting the cause" but keeping the peace.

I typed as I heard Rush talking about it on his radio show. I did a search and turned up this:
Documents Obtained by Judicial Watch Detail Role of Justice Department in Organizing Trayvon Martin Protests
    http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-r...rtin-protests/
I did not see the 600K that I believe I heard Rush say. He may have had other information, or I may have heard it incorrectly.

My search also turned up the following:
Is Obama & DOJ Behind Recent Protests Against Sheriff Joe Arpaio?

Mr Holder, where was your CRS in this case?

A teenager charged in a February crime spree was formally charged as an adult Tuesday.

Gabriel Edwards, 15, faces 14 charges, including murder, robbery and auto theft. Edwards was arrested following the spree on Feb. 13. His friend, Sirquain Burr, was arrested as well.

Edwards said he met Burr, whom he calls “Six”, in January.

Both teens are accused of several robberies, a high speed chase and the death of 38-year-old John Yingling.
