    tapco mags wont fit.

    Hello guys I have two tapco mags and they wont fit in my wasr 10. I have a steel 30 rd mag and it fits just fine. I know my ak was once a single stack. Is there anything I can do beside get rid of them? Thanks

    find where therye binding, file them down.

    This. Plastic is not much harder than wood, a file will do it. Probably the corner radius of the mags is not a match to the radius that was milled into the trunion of the WASR10. I've seen this before on the WASR rifles. Sometimes this even happens with metal mags made in Europe, but usually to a lesser extent.

    well guys thanks I did some work to them and they fit. I think Im gonna stick to the steel mags. Thanks again

    I have several Tapco mags and they don't fit my Wasrs but I don't have any problems with them in Mak90s or Yugos.
