I'm sure he won't get much jail time for this since the only crime he committed was breaking the glass case. The prosecutor probably won't waste time trying to prove intent. No doubt the public defender will claim that the "victim" was on is way to baseball practice and accidentally tripped while in the gun store breaking the glass case. The gun store owner will be sued for negligence and settle out of court for enough money to keep the "victim" supplied with drugs for a year or two.
