Wondering if the finger tab on the safety for the underfolder is smaller than for the fixed stock to allow the folder to close over it? I remember the Chinese folding stock has a cut out in it for the safety. Unable to dig out my M70AB2 from the safe to check at this time.

Unfortunately I do not have a Chinese underfolder in my collection to try this out, I'll grab my mak 90 and try it, don't want to bother my polys or my 56-s for this type of experiment

no go on the mak 90, I don't feel like messing the shepards hook on it. I tried the polytech online store to see if they have underfolder levers, only ones mentioned are the legend series, and thats a broad description

The Legend lever will not work as it is for an AK (milled receiver) which would not fit on an AKM (stamped receiver).

There is a WASR underfolder which should have a similar safety, but no guarantee.

Amazing how many AK variants there are, and how different their parts are even though they might look the same.

I called Century and I was told I need to ship it to them to inspect it and replace the lever.
I'm kind of reluctant to send it to them that way, all I want is the safety lever

If they are paying for the shipping, it would be worth it. If you have to pay for the shipping you might just keep looking. Have you tried Gunbroker?

And what is the problem as you never really said in your opening post?

It's kind of embarrassing, I bought the retaining plate for it because the shepard's hook was not seating right, where the safety was, you have to have everything in place and the lever goes in last. I had the same issue with maadi when I got the retaining plate so I grinded some of the tab for it to clear the hook of trigger. Well the yugo was more, and even though it clears the hook barely, the safety will not enage. Thats the problem I have with it.

sorry if this post was confusing, I made a mistake on judgement on this and didnt think it would be this hard to get parts for the underfolder.

Update: Found a lightning lever that works on my Yugo through Colorado Shooting Sports, had no issues with the fitting, had to notch the tab where it contacts with the disconnector that's the only modifying I had to do to it.
