Thumbs up Did you see the G-3's in Kenya?

I saw a Photo on Fox of the Kenyan Army, at the Mall. They were in the British Style Uniform from the early 1980's and they all were carring the H&K G-3 Rifle. Glad to see the Old Girl is still in Front Line Service, long after the German Army Dropped it for that ugly Plastic G-36.

Yea, I was looking at them... They looked good working with the good guys...
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

There were an interesting mix of rifles the Kenyan military were toting. In addition to the G3's I saw some guys armed with SCARS and AK-47's. You would think there'd be more standardization of caliber & rifle. Maybe some of the guys were police in military garb (AKs), others in special units (SCAR)?

I also saw some M-16s, not M-4s, full size M-16s.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

A pic on the front of the Wall Street Journal the other day showed two Kenyan soldiers, one with an m4 of some kind, and the other with the "right arm of the free world" an FN FAL.
