This proves to be a continuing trend, I might just be set for life!

In truth, absolutely crazy, but when the supply is limited, prices go up.

    That's just stupid...
I could buy a cheap car with what i have stashed away at that price.
They can be difficult to find, but they're not THAT freakin rare.

I could probably score some for mine locally if i went looking.
They're not impossible to come by but god only knows about the price now.
Haven't looked in a long long time.

That was two people that should not be bidding on auctions...

I have a friend like that. He takes being out bid as a personal insult and feels disrespected. He forgets it is a business transaction and it become emotional and personal. He just can't stop bidding until the auction is over and feels he MUST win.
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

There are a lot of people like this, which makes me wonder if the seller will actually get his money, or the newbie that bid that high will just let his account be closed as a non-payer.

Have I ever overpaid for something? Yes! There have been a few items that I considered something to be "one of only a few" that I had ever seen available for sale, or it was something I needed to complete a "set" of items. One item in particular was an unfired, NIB 84S-5A. Another was full stock factory blond Legend. I also over paid for some 1986 Jing-Anh Armco 7.62 x 39 in mint boxes. A few extra bucks here and there can easily be offset by good deals on other stuff over the years.

Now, would I ever pay $152 on a 223 mag? Uh... NO!

    WOW!!!!!

DAMN I have 4-5 Bulgarian smoke Waffle mags LINB that I bought by mistake several years ago that I'd gladly sell for tht price.
I paid $120 for all back then, $80 each would be a good price.

Another "NR" bidder. Also note that no feedback for seller or bidder has been left on the first action listed above. Makes me wonder...

I'll happily trade mine off for a pile of 30 round 7.62x39 mags, just sayin'....
