Question Do you know more about science and technology than the average American?

    Test yourself:

(Dammit, 12 out of 13. I missed the one about which gas makes up most of the Earth’s atmosphere... my first "gut" choice would have been correct too, but I second-guessed myself. Looks like that was the most missed question of all of them though... )

Got 11 out of 13. Missed the one on electrons, and the same one you missed. Still not to shabby for a history major.

Watch Krupski, and IntegratedJ come in and smash that quiz with ease.

Got 13 of 13. It's frightening to think anybody would have trouble with that quiz.

    13 out of 13.

Those last questions were tricky. When they asked, "male" or "female" and my age, and highest education completed, I thought those were trick questions.

How? That's like saying you call an entire Chicken a drumstick and the drumstick the Chicken.

    Oh yeah, 13 of 13.

Yeah, ultra basic stuff. And water vapor is a way more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but wasn't offered as a choice.

    13 of 13.

The question about "most scientists" and temperatures in the atmosphere was uncomfortably bordering on PC in my opinion.

13 of 13. Basic science information. Scary thing is it said I scored better than 93% of those that took the quiz. Shows why we have to import our engineers and scientists from foreign countries. Either the schools are failing our students or we are selectively breeding stupid people.

I almost missed #13, but there are all these guys here at work from Chesapeake and Schlumberger working on this big stack of valves and oddly enough one of them knew the answer

I got 12 out of 13. Those were pretty basic questions, that I remembered from high school. How can 85% of the public miss more than me?

13/13 for 100%. Didn't like the way some of the questions were worded but I knew the answer they were looking for.

13/13. Too easy. The way some of the questions were worded, I do think they were testing reading comprehension as well.

Missed one... and I knew better. I hit infrared instead of ultraviolet.
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...

I had to grit my teeth to answer this one: "What gas do most scientists believe causes temperatures in the atmosphere to rise?"

Anyway, I got 13 out of 13 right. Science and technology IS my thing though... those questions were kindergarten level to me.
