Do a weld build up and then machine it back down. Little expensive for this sort of thing, but it is possible.

There is a metalizing process we use in industry sometimes. It is like "spray painting" with molten metal that builds up and can be machined down. It is used mainly for hard surfacing wear parts and build up on alloy parts that are too expensive or have long lead times for replacement.
It ain't cheap...
